Healthy Bodies Practice Pilates. CORE is proud to provide a caring, safe, professional, and effective instructional and wellness environment. Please familiarize yourself with our policies prior to visiting our studio.
Cellphones must be silenced and are not permitted in the main studio or near studio equipment.
Typical fitness wear is appropriate for all classes. Please do not wear any lotions, oils, creams, perfumes, jewelry, zippers, or sharp objects that may damage or get caught on the equipment. Fitted socks with grip are required for all Pilates classes, and can be borrowed from the studio. Some class descriptions may suggest additional attire. Please remove your shoes upon entering the studio. You can store your shoes, keys, and other personal items safely in the spaces provided.
Walk-ins are welcome, however, it does not guarantee a space. We highly recommend online registration to reserve your place in class. Please visit the schedule page on our website for the online schedule and the classes tab for class descriptions. The first time you log on, you will need to create a login and password. If you have trouble registering, simply call us and we can assist.
If a class is full on our schedule, please join the wait-list. If a space opens, we will contact you immediately via email/text. In turn, if you have a scheduled class that you cannot make, please cancel so we can open your spot to somebody else. 12-hour notice is required to cancel all group classes, otherwise it will be deducted from your class package since we are unable to fill that space.
Full payment is due prior to scheduling a class or session. We accept cash, checks, and credit cards. Our drop-in rates and packages fees offer flexibility and savings on a variety of classes and services. There are no registration fees or member contracts. All packages and drop-in payments are non-refundable and expire 90 days after the date of purchase. A one-time extension period can be arranged for illness, travel, etc. If a client is unable to fulfill a package.
One of our main focuses at CORE is our community. Please join us for our social events ! We also host workshops, retreats, fitness clothing swaps, and wellness talks on topics such as nutrition, weight management, injury prevention, self-defense tactics, and more. Since her childhood in Brazil as a gymnast, Camila has always loved exercising, but she only realized her passion could become a career later in life when she experienced Pilates. In 2019, she became a comprehensively certified instructor and trainer of Pilates, and she has worked as an instructor ever since. Her past teaching credits include Club Pilates - Palmetto Bay/Kendall/ West Kendall (Lead Instructor/Trainer), Club Pilates - Port Orange (Instructor/Trainer), and Club Pilates - South Miami (Instructor). Her additional certifications include Barre Above (Pilates-focused barre certification), BOSU Strong + Stretched, and TRX Suspension Training. In addition to her Pilates/fitness background, Camila has an B.S. in Tourism and a Master in Business Administration from Universidade Federal do Parana in Curitiba, Brazil and a Certificate in Tourism and Hospitality from the University of California - San Diego. She is fluent in English and Portuguese, and competent in Spanish. What Camila appreciates most about Pilates is the mind/body connection and re-centering that occur during each class or session, as well as the the way in which that nurtures both the body and the spirit. Her classes are always engaging, challenging, and full of positive energy!
Stacia discovered Pilates when her back pain from lordosis became unbearable. Stacia realized that Pilates was not only a wonderful method for pain management and rehabilitation, but also for body transformation and mood enhancement. After discovering the many benefits, she became a certified in Balanced Body Mat Pilates, Reformer Pilates, and completed the BB Barre workshop. Stacia taught classes and private sessions at Zen BodyWorks Studio for over a year before the ZBW studio became CORE, where she now is owner and instructor of private sessions and small group Reformer, Springwall/Tower, Mat, Barre, Vertical Pole, and Oov®. Stacia has a BS in Interior Design from University of Georgia and is owner of Finch & Finch Designs. She brings her creativity and meticulous eye for design and precision into her Pilates training. Stacia loves animals, the beach, pickleball, and tennis.
TJ is a dynamic PMA master teacher trainer with over 20 years of experience. A scholarship recipient at NYU for the performing arts, TJ later earned her BFA from Marymount Manhattan College. Her diverse career has included roles both in front of and behind the camera in television. TJ's expertise was further honed during a 4-year collaboration with Mari Winsor, where she built connections with numerous celebrities, including Jim Carrey, Priscilla Presley, Reba McEntire, and Sissy Spacek. Having owned and transformed a Pilates school into a successful staffing agency in Los Angeles, TJ has worked with a wide range of clients, from professional athletes and dancers to post and prenatal women and children with scoliosis. Originally Balance Body trained in 2005, she has since been certified in multiple Pilates methods.
